Protection for Refugees & Asylum Seekers
PROTECTION FOR HUMAN and CIVIL RIGHTS FOR ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES:
Looking for a Better Present and Future for their Children and themselves!
We should show COMPASSION and CONSIDERATION!
The world is full of conflict. People all over the globe have had to leave their homelands to escape dire situations. They have run from pain and misery, from daily danger to their lives or loved ones. They have left, sometimes blindly, endured risks and sacrifice, seeking a place where their Human Rights are respected, their lives protected, looking for safety and FREEDOM!!
When these People arrive in other Countries, they face DESCRIMINATION and HOSTILITY.
Behind these asylum seekers and refugees, there is a history of trampled upon human rights. These People have fled their countries because of the systematic abuse of Human Rights: genocide, murder, torture, slavery, unjustified persecution and imprisonment. All on account of race, ethnicity or gender, religion or political opinion, thought or action, sexuality or just for being different. They have escaped Conflict and Violence, seeking to meet their basic needs, and to be able to develop and live. They don’t seek luxury, they don’t seek comfort; it is water and food, shelter and clothing, medical assistance and supplies, justice and freedom.
- THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT INVOLVES and IMPACTS ALL OF US!!
